Simon Granger is a Senior Managing Director in FTI Consulting‘s Corporate Finance practice and is based in London.
Simon has 20 years of experience, providing restructuring advice and financial solutions to a wide range of stakeholders in stressed and distressed situations.
Simon has advised stakeholders to numerous businesses facing financial and strategic challenges across Europe, the Middle East & Africa, with a particular focus on debt restructurings, crisis management, liquidity and crisis management.
Simon acts on behalf of corporates, private equity, senior lenders and junior creditors, providing strategic financial advice as a lead advisor, but with a hands-on and highly proactive approach.
Throughout the financial crisis, Simon has led and delivered a number of high profile and complex financial restructurings, including Quinn Group; Landsbankinn hf. Ballantyne Re; Heijmans N.V.; Deutz AG; Jost Werke AG; Chesapeake Corporation; Renewable Energy Corporation ASA; Kodak, Seat Pagine Gialle; and Nortel.
Simon has supported numerous stakeholders in the evaluation of new money investments, financial due diligence and has also undertaken interim roles including Global Solar Funds in Italy; QMH in the UK and Cable & Wireless in the US and Caribbean.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Simon spent 9 years at Deloitte LLP within the Transactions and Restructuring team. During that time, he acted on a number of consensual and non-consensual restructuring assignments including Gate Gourmet, Treofan, Mayflower Group and Jarvis.
