Dr. Peta Seaton AM is a public policy expert and strategic advisor in the Economic & Financial Consulting practice. Peta has a deep experience and understanding of regional and remote service delivery and the issues impacting those areas including tourism, regional infrastructure, employment and jobs, as a former regional MP and Deputy Chair of the Bradman Foundation. She also has practical experience with remote and indigenous stakeholder and service issues in her current portfolio of activities.
Peta also undertakes other roles including as Chair of Australian Hearing Services which is an Australian Government statutory appointment.
Peta represented the Southern Highlands in NSW Parliament from 1996 to 2007, where she was NSW Shadow Treasurer and held other front bench portfolios including infrastructure, planning, regulation, small business and the environment.
Peta has also held key advisor roles including to NSW Premiers Nick Greiner and John Fahey. Most recently she led NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell’s reform agenda as Director of Transition, and later Strategic Priorities including leading NSW’s COAG and State/Federal relations policy and reform of tax, planning, economic development, regulatory reform and customer service priorities.
