Nish Shukla is a Senior Director in the Construction Solutions practice at FTI Consulting and is based in New Delhi, India.
Nish has 25 years’ experience in the construction industry specialising in contracts and claims management. His experience spans a number of complex projects, including large infrastructure, rail, mechanical and electrical installations and building projects. He has worked in a variety of countries including the UK, India, Singapore, Malaysia and the Middle East.
As a Commercial Manager and Consultant, Nish has a detailed knowledge of claims management, procurement and contract. He has successfully and consistently delivered first-rate services to the construction industry, to an array of clients in both public and private sectors.
Nish’s claims management experience includes the forensic investigation of additional costs, quantum analysis, assisting in the drafting of statements of claims, evidence management and claim evaluation and rebuttal. He is experienced in the preparation and implementation of commercial strategies and policies to suit contract administration and claims management functions. Nish’s procurement management experience includes providing advice on procurement and contract strategy, drafting supplementary agreements, drafting contract amendments & resolution and presenting and negotiating contractual matters on major projects.
Nish is experienced in various dispute resolution processes including adjudication, mediation, arbitration and litigation. He has provided services to contractors, employers, consultants and architects.
Nish is dual qualified and holds a Diploma in Civil Engineering, a law degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Dispute Resolution Practices.
