Since joining FTI Consulting, her experience has spanned cross-border issues management; strategy development and roll-out; crisis, and M&A.  Specifically, she served on multiple London teams supporting the Microsoft /Nokia transaction, leading the communications integration work-stream for the Nokia business transferring into Microsoft.  Ms. Phillips has also led multiple internal restructuring initiatives for FTSE-listed companies spanning multiple geographies, as well as a two-year strategy roll-out campaign for a global pharmaceutical company.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, she spent over 8 years with GE Healthcare, holding a variety of communications leadership roles.  Her responsibilities spanned employee engagement; media relations; and crisis.  She led the internal communications for 6 GE Corporate Officers-- including the functional leaders for HR, IT, Marketing and the two previous CEOs of GE Healthcare.

Prior to GE, she led North American Media and Investor Relations for FTSE-listed Amersham, plc., which was acquired by GE in 2004.

Her start-up experience includes leading investor and media relations for Mainspring, a US-based digital-strategy consulting firm where she oversaw all communications activities from the Company’s mezzanine-round financing to IPO and eventual acquisition by IBM.  She began her career with Cambridge, Massachusetts-based Feinstein Kean Healthcare, providing investor and media relations counsel within the life sciences sector.
