FTI Consulting Adds Three Dispute Experts to Construction Solutions Practice in Singapore
Singapore, 8 May 2019 — FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE: FCN) today announced the expansion of its Construction Solutions practice in Asia with the addition of three experts, strengthening the firm’s expert witness and dispute resolution offering globally.
Lee Baker and Andrew Oddie join as Senior Directors, and Mark Curties joins as an Associate Director. The three will be based in Singapore and previously worked with a global consulting, expert and advisory services firm for the construction and engineering industry.

Mr Oddie has more than 15 years of experience in the construction industry and has spent half of his career working internationally, with the last six in Asia. He has worked on a variety of projects, including building, civil engineering, mining, infrastructure, oil and gas and process engineering works in both a project and dispute-related environment. As a quantum expert, he has given evidence in Singapore and has been appointed in the Supreme Court of Western Australia.
Mr Baker, who brings more than 15 years of experience, has had multiple appointments as an expert witness and has testified in the High Court of Singapore. He specialises in time-related matters and programme risk management. Mr Baker has been appointed to prepare expert reports and regularly advises clients on dispute avoidance and resolution. He has extensive international experience with high-value mega-projects across a range of industry sectors.
Mr Curties has 10 years of experience consulting in delay analysis. He has assisted the expert witness in the collection, interrogation and analysis of large data sets using a variety of techniques. He is frequently appointed by employers and contractors to prepare and assess extensions of time claims. Mr Curties has worked on projects across Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
